£3746.07 raised so far for DEC plus more on top for FAYAP. This came from a combination of donations, an auction (which included summer event tickets at Framlingham Castle kindly donated by English Heritage and a painting by Alaco Doyle). The Just-giving page is still open, so thank you to everyone who came.
None of the 25 acts pulled out (apart from a 7 year old who lost his nerve about reciting a poem) – and we gained an unexpected duo. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the event showed the huge future potential of the theatre for events, music and performance in addition to being an exhibition space.
Our planning application is still being considered but we are hopeful that East Suffolk Council are able to get behind our vision for the building just as the wider community of Framlingham have done.
